What about the lover boy look that he started out with? “Yeah, change is inevitable, but that charm can be brought back with the right kind of roles. In fact, in a Vashu Bhagnani film that I’m doing, I’m going back seven years,†he says. So, why did he take up that role? “Now, that I’m slightly older, I want to see that part of my life from the perspective of this one,†he promptly answers.
Bhagnani’s film is all about rollerblading, hacking, college, friends and loyalty. Will it work at the Box Office? “In a boarding school, you feel that the world is against you. And one behaves like a rebel! This script is going to click, as this is the right time to approach a film on that subject. Kids today have incredible knowledge about everything. There are hackers in this film who are into manipulating programmes, binary numbers and alpha and beta code languages. It will appeal to all age groups,†says Zayed.
