Zayed Khan ended up with stitches on his forehead after a stunt gone wrong for the action adventure Blue . But the mishap hasn’t intimidated the actor.

The debacle of his last release Mission Istanbul hasn’t disheartened Zayed Khan, who seems intent on proving himself as an action hero. In this bid to prove his mettle, the actor has been pulling out all the stops and putting his body through the rigours of dangerous stunts.

But one such stunt went horribly wrong on Sunday while Zayed was shooting in Phuket (Thailand) for director Anthony D’Souza’s action flick ‘Blue’.

The stunt, being shot under the guidance of Hollywood action director James D Bomalick, required Zayed to jump from a height of 20 feet onto a car. The actor did the stunt without any use of harness.

However, when Zayed landed on the car, his feet slipped and his head smashed against the windshield which got broken due to impact. Blood began to ooze out of the actor’s forehead, causing panic among the film’s crew.

Zayed was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors had to stitch the wound. The actor was discharged from the hospital within hours with the medical advice of taking rest for a day or two.

However, the mishap has left Zayed undaunted. He says he will continue to do his stunts with more vigour. He also doesn’t plan to rest beyond a day.

“I’m waiting to return to action,” says Zayed.

‘Blue’ is an action adventure with lots of underwater stunts. The movie stars Akshay Kumar , Sanjay Dutt , Lara Dutta and Zayed.
