Zayed Khan had a quiet birthday celebration on July 5. The actor received many gifts from his family members and close friends. But the gift he most cherishes, was sent by the King of Bahrain, Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

A source reveals, “Sanjay Khan is very close to the royal dynasties of the UAE. He’s normally invited to all their gatherings and celebrations. The King of Bahrain is very close to Sanjay Khan’s family and is fond of his kids.

Since he couldn’t be here for Zayed’s birthday, His Highness personally called to wish him personally, and gave his blessings. He also sent a special gift that costs a few crores.”

The source continues, “Sanjay’s family are regular visitors at the King of Bahrain’s place. There are pictures of the Khan family with the Sheikh in his office.”

It feels good

Zayed confirms, “Our family is very close to Sheikh Hamad. My father also shares a good rapport with the other Sheikhs in the UAE. It feels good when people wish you on your birthday and Sheikh Hamad did call me and gave me his blessings.”

When quizzed about the super expensive gift, ZK, adds, “I did receive gifts from a lot of people including him, but it is too personal to talk about it.” Zayed is currently shooting for the remaining patchwork of Blue, “I just have few portions left. I am trying to make the most of the rains by sitting at home and spending time with my son Zidaan and wife Malaika.
