Vaada is a 2005 Bollywood film of the thriller genre. Directed by Satish Kaushik, the plot revolves around a murder amidst a convoluted love-triangle and stars Arjun Rampal portraying as Rahul, the accidentally blinded husband of Pooja played by Amisha Patel, as well as his former best friend and her former crazed lover, Karan, played by Zayed Khan. The screenplay was written by Santosh Sivan and Saket Chaudhary and the dialogue by Abbas Tyrewala.

“We are celebrating one year of an 11-year journey together! Malli has this strange way of celebrating six-seven anniversaries - the first time we met, the second time when it took off, and third, the engagement anniversary. Today is actor Zayed Khan’s first marriage anniversary. But what’s more shocking is that the ‘Rocky’ star admitted in a national newspaper today that his wife Malaika had a habit of chewing ‘Paan’ and that she is trying to give it up. Now, hey dude, even if your wife had such a habit as this (it’s quite uncool though) what’s the point in talking about the same to the media. Obviously she is going to get several stares next time she is out in public.

it seems although Zayed is a married man, he still needs to go a bit of a distance in terms of earning higher maturity levels. Well, talking about his films, then apart from multi starrers like ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Dus’ Zayed hasn’t had a good run at the Box Office.

“i think Zayed needs to improve his dialogue delivery. But, at the same time, he is the hottest Bollywood star. That is, after Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman, of course,”she says with a smile. All hubby dearest can do is look on and smile bravely.

And what does she have to say about Zayed’s biggest success till date, Main Hoon Na? “i don’t think Main Hoon Na was the turning point in his career. Farah Khan is one filmmaker who can get the best out of anybody. in fact, i would say that Vaada was the movie in which Zayed sparkled,”she says authoritatively.
